This Holiday Season
Winter weather has arrived and Christmas songs are playing on the radio
all across Ohio. Whether we were ready for it or not, the holidays are
here. As Tina and I look forward to spending time with family and
friends, we are also among the millions of other folks who are trying
to wrap up their Christmas shopping.
As you scour store shelves and online deals in search of the perfect
gifts for those you love, I hope you will consider taking a look at

The Ohio Secretary of State’s Office is the first stop companies need
to make before they can do business in Ohio. When I became Secretary of
State, we decided to take a closer look at our ever-growing database of
more than 1.1 million Ohio businesses. Through

are creating interesting products, offering outstanding services and
contributing to their local communities all while employing Ohioans in
the process.
We have found that there is no shortage of outstanding companies in
Ohio worthy of your holiday business.
Each month, we feature a handful of diverse businesses that are linked
together by a common theme. This December, and just in time for the
holidays, we are featuring companies that make goods by hand right here
in Ohio as part of our theme “Handmade for the Holidays.”
