Humbled to
Serve and Fight for the People of Ohio's 8th District
Washington, D.C. - Congressman John Boehner (R – West Chester) today
released the following statement after receiving the overwhelming
support of voters in Ohio's 8th Congressional District.
“I am so humbled that the people of the 8th Congressional District have
given me the opportunity to serve them and continue the fight for a
smaller, more accountable, less costly government. With their
vote, Ohioans here in the 8th District and across the entire state have
sent a clear message to the president and his Democratic allies in
Washington that they want us to focus on their priorities – not
Washington’s. Let me also congratulate Governor Kasich and our
entire Republican team on strong victories up and down the ticket this
year. We’re going to maintain our focus and continue working to
unleash our job creators, build a stronger economy, and help
middle-class families get ahead.”
