From the Other Side of the Edge…..
…but We’re all
Going to Die from Ebola, …anyway

We have, very clearly in my estimation, lost our path as a nation, and
a society. The proof of that, is all around us, …in
abundance.
We should be celebrating life, in and about this glorious country, and
our wondrous good fortune, at having been born in the midst of all the
amazing opportunities it presents.
Instead of being drawn into all the fretful, sickening, and deceitful
situations which modern politics and “business as usual” shoves back at
us, despite the all the promises, …promised.
But we’re all going to die from the Ebola virus, soon anyway, …so what
does it matter??
Why should we worry about some crazed religious group (or two, …or
three), six thousand miles away, ….when all Americans within the sound
of my keystrokes will be dead at the hands of the unchecked Ebola
menace, …within about 6 to 8 weeks anyway???
Especially, when stopping either of these two deadly killers (ISIS,
etc, …and Ebola), by way of our present, so very feeble, and mostly
stupid methods, …have just about the same (slim to non-existent) chance
for success.
But don’t be afraid, my friends, …I’m told there’s great comfort in
knowing the date when your end will come.
Gives you time to prepare (even if there won’t be anyone else left,
after you’re gone), and to sweetly kiss you posterior goodbye.
Why indeed, should we be concerned about the exponential growth of
governmental control over every facet of our lives, and the slow but
steady sapping of all our personal freedoms and privacies, by those
same govts, ….when none of us have a snowball’s chance in the desert
anyway, of surviving this rampant Ebola River sickness, which will be
on your street within a few short days, …wreaking its havoc??
But fear not, my brave brethren, …we’ll all be in this
together.
That should make our mutual experience much easier, …since we’ve had
such good practice in recent years, at being shepherded along, in
sheepish docility, to places where our words say that we protest
strongly, …but which our actions, or in-actions, prove
differently.
Why worry about the dismantling of the world’s greatest medical system,
or the slow but determined destruction of the military which has
protected us faithfully, and so successfully, for decades, even
centuries ??
Or the steady slide into oblivion of our national legislative body, and
our election process?? Or the polarizing effect of
our national media outlets, on race, the economy, and particularly
politics?
Well, good news, …exactly none of these former bothers, should be of
any concern to us anymore, my fellow travelers. No, …not
with the end being so near, …courtesy of our freely and easily
admitted, West African intruder.
It is apparently a very painful, extremely miserable, and absolutely
terrible way to go, …but it’s coming folks, …don’t doubt
it.
You think not? Well then, you might want to run this
possibility over any remaining, and still functioning brain cells
(while you can), another time or two.
What makes you think that our current group of non-caring, me-first,
lie-cheat-and-steal officialdom, whom we have sat near idly by, while
allowing them to take over this country, …will do any better job of
protecting us from a killer virus, with no known cure, than it has at
preserving our rights, and guaranteeing our laws ???
It will be handled, as always, in the most self-serving,
non-transparent method possible, with the general citizenry knowing
little, …until it is too late.
They have lied to us about everything, for years, even decades,…and now
they’re already lying to us about the Ebola virus!!
And their incompetent management style and “handling”, of every major
crisis for the past two decades, …gives us little to no hope that the
Ebola virus can be prevented from coming to our shores, muchless
contained when it does arrive.
Seriously, …thousands, and probably millions of lives are at risk, and
I’m not being alarmist here.
Why, in the name of all that is holy and healthy (like your Grandma’s
favorite home remedies, ---and common sense), have we not stopped all
travel, completely, to and from all West African countries, until
further notice, even if that’s years from now !!!????
Would that be asking too much???
Probably. Because we would be asking the same
people who thought the “Fast and Furious” gun debacle was a good idea,
…and that presenting an I.D. before you can vote, is a bad one, …to
figure this one out, all by themselves.
And why are we sending 4,000 U.S. troops to that region? To
do what??? Contract this deadly disease, and then bring it
home!!???
Why is there no quarantine/isolation period, for anyone wanting to
enter the U.S., who has been to West Africa in the last 6 months, or
so???
Seems like pure practicality, to me. And purely
survivalist.
But no, our government officials, activists, and propagandists are all
afraid we might be “profiling”, or portraying prejudicially, the
inhabitants of that region.
Duhhhh!!!!
They’re dropping like flies over there, with no practical nor
affordable cure, even in sight, …and now some of them want to come here
???
Sorry, but that’s simply one bridge too far, …even for this “apologize
to everyone”, then “give it all away” country.
And how good do you feel right now, …about the hospital and medical
security in Africa, the airport security system in our country, and
hospital staffs here, like the one in Dallas recently, …all being able
to control the spread of this horrendous condition??
No written response will be required, to that one.
Yep, if this public health hazard is allowed to get started in the U.S.
(and it already has), and is handled everywhere, like Benghazi was, or
the IRS and NSA scandals, or our immigration policies and laws are, and
the first case of this virus was, in a local Dallas hospital, …then
truly, this completely preventable situation will quickly turn into a
bad TV show, or summer-stock movie.
Except that the theaters will be empty, and no television sets will be
turned on.
But on the bright side, …no more political controversies nor disputes,
…no more stock market nor economy to worry about, …global warming won’t
matter much anymore, …and real estate will be pretty cheap.
Life will be good, ….if you are a cockroach.
