From the Other Side of the Edge…..
…On the Wrong
Side of his OWN Red Line…

Heavyweights, …especially those with knock-out power in one or both of
their hands, …don’t have to apologize for doing the right
thing.
When you are the biggest, baddest, and nastiest dude on the block, …you
don’t need the approval of some community, nor group, before you act.
You ARE the group!!
If you are threatened, or perceive some threat, to yourself, family,
friends, or merely to the street where you live, …it’s not necessary to
ask for permission from your neighbors, nor worse, from the people
across town, prior to “taking care of” your perceived problem or
issue.
Not when you are the Big Kahuna, the “Cock of the Walk”, and the one
whom everyone comes running to, when THEY have a
problem. And especially not, if you are on the side
of what’s right.
You just take care of business. Period !!
That’s what the United States USED to be. The
defender of freedom, …the first responders to any global threats, …and
the world’s police force.
Sometimes that was for better, sometimes for worse, but there was never
any hesitation from the greatest superpower the world has ever
known. We went in, and did the job.
End of threat, end of problem. And then we
helped everyone back to their feet, after all the action was
over.
No endless meetings and discussions, no mindless, gutless negotiations,
no worries about political repercussions, either at home nor in some
meaningless, leaderless country, halfway around the world.
This is the Obama way. Talk it to death, and then
draw a big “Red Line” in the sand, and tell people not to cross it, or
they will have to “pay the consequences”.
But he forgets (or more likely, …just never knew), that when you do
that, …you need to back it up.
Otherwise, all your blustery, well delivered rhetoric about some line,
and not going past it, and the un-named “penalties” for doing so, will
have about as much effect as painting a pedestrian cross-walk on the
Jersey Turnpike.
To be honest, Bill Clinton and G.W. Bush weren’t much better at this,
but BHO has taken this to a whole new level, …and you won’t be using
the “Up” escalator, to get to the level where he has led
us.
And worst yet, the only one who respects that “red line”, …is him !!!
He’s determined not to cross that line, himself, from his own side, no
matter how trampled it gets from all the offenders he targets, who have
completely, and with mocking disregard and full disrespect, ignored all
such nonsensical tactics.
Russia, Syria, and now ISIS, ….exhibits A, B, and C (not
necessarily in that order).
He seems scared to death to take any action against Russia in the
Ukraine, or in Syria, which would be a “layup”, in terms of military
action. And, it seems not even against the “Islamic
State” (ISIS, ISIL, …whatever), perhaps the worst bunch of soulless
terrorists, and the most far reaching, since Hitler’s Brown Shirted
Gestapo.
Or maybe, what scares him the most, is that he realizes how far over
his head he is, and how ill-equipped he is to cope and deal with this
situation, or any like it.
Guys like Reagan, and FDR, Truman, Ike, and even JFK, all were prepared
for this type of thing, from their life experiences, and all went for
it, right now, when it came to defending the country’s honor, security,
and freedom.
They made mistakes, and some have questioned the purity of some of
their motives, …but they went for it, nonetheless.
And preserved the nation, as a result of their clear and decisive
actions, …and of their bravery in implementing them.
Unlike the present occupant of the White House, and probably his two
predecessors, …these men were Old School.
“Shoot first, and ask questions later!” At least when the
ones causing the threat are so obviously evil, and determined to
destroy what you hold dear, …and sacred.
“Kill ‘em all, …and then let God sort it out.”
And if you’re as right as your words attempt to indicate, or at least
as they profess, then there will be no blame, nor fault, attached to
that “sorting”. Not if you are honest and forthright,
and on the side of the law, …and of human decency.
Especially not, if you exhibit a decisiveness of method, a
determination to do whatever it takes to defend your own, wherever that
fight may take you, and the fearless, non-political bravery needed to
pull all of that off, successfully, with no thought of personal gain,
nor loss.
President Obama exhibits exactly NONE of these qualities and
attributes, …so essential for good, strong, and decisive
leadership.
NONE.
And now going for negative territory, in a gigantic rush toward a
cataclysmic national failure, unseen, nor ever approached, in our
country’s history.
He admits to “not having a strategy” for dealing with the Islamic State
(or caliphate) in Syria and Iraq. Simply amazing,
…even mind boggling.
These, the self-proclaimed defenders of all that is holy (from their
perverted point of view), who are absent any form of conscience or
compassion, when it comes to the treatment or disposition of any other
human beings on earth, who don’t happen to believe as they do (which
means they will kill, and brutally, all who do not, …millions, if
necessary).
Really ??? No strategy ???? Who
wouldn’t have a plan against that !!!????
Aren’t you born with that?? Isn’t that called
“self-preservation” ?? And isn’t that purely
instinctive?
I guess not for certain silver-tongued empty suits, whose only cares,
and thoughts, are solely for themselves.
But the deeper truth is, neither Obama, nor any of his sycophants nor
phony “advisors”, even have a strategy to HAVE a
strategy.
And worse, they are clueless as to the importance of such a strategy
being in place, and at the quick & ready, well in advance of such
an horrific event ever showing up.
This is all a game to them. Some kind of video game,
or I-pad app, or something they stumbled across at an arcade
somewhere.
They play at it, and hope for the best. And if they happen
to get it wrong, or lose altogether, …oh well, …we’ll start over
tomorrow, and try for that record high score again, using the same
losing methods and bad, misguided thought patterns, which trashed them
the last time, …and every time.
But man, …are they having fun at it.
When you are clueless, you have no idea what you’re missing, what
you’re not doing, nor how many people you put in harm’s way, because of
your reckless and foolish actions, and your uneducated and uninformed
practices.
This man may bluster well, and he may be a Grade A cheerleader, but
he’s scared of his own shadow. Especially if it casts
itself ominously on some bad political poll result, or across some
arbitrary “red line” he’s drawn, of which he has not a thought (nor a
strategy) for what to do with it.
I can’t believe I’m going to quote Ted Kennedy here, but when he
delivered the eulogy at his brother Robert’s funeral, in 1968, he
described him as a man…
“....who saw wrong, and tried to right it, …saw suffering, and tried to
heal it, …saw war, and tried to stop it.”
These are the philosophies, and the qualities, of which I speak and of
which we need, …but which we find ourselves so lacking, in our current
President.
Well, Teddy and Bobby almost had it right.
Indeed, as RFK might have also believed, …when there is an evil in the
world somewhere, …an evil which will stop at nothing to terrorize and
destroy all in the world who are not completely and totally in line
with them, ….then that must be stopped as well.
Forcefully, …permanently, …and without hesitation.
It takes a real man, and a courageous individual, to do these
things.
Our President is neither. God help
us.
