From the Other Side of the Edge….
America Needs
Ted Cruz, …and Ben Carson, …and even Elizabeth Warren

America needs Truth Tellers.
Or at least those who deeply believe in the Truth that they Tell, …and
who do not back away from it.
It needs people who stand up for their Truths, and who don’t care who
in their particular political party or affiliation agrees with them,
…nor who may follow them, from anywhere in the rest of the country, for
that matter.
The Truth, is the Truth, they tell us, …and they believe
it.
Follow, or don’t follow, they say, …but at least listen for
it.
And stop falling for, they insist, those twisted and perverted traps of
self-serving political correctness, …distorted political righteousness,
…and worst of all, political expediency and corruption, …doing false
bidding in the name of correctness and righteousness.
We have all of those negatives now, …and it has been engrained within
our culture. The last twenty five years are proof of
that, …especially the last ten.
America needs more, who will speak their minds,
…unconditionally.
People who will do so, without fear of political
consequence.
Who will share their beliefs, with no concern for what the origins may
be, …who will lay bare their passions, without worry for who nor what
might think them excessive, …or, …horror of horrors,
…non-inclusive.
And who will show no hesitation nor temperance, for displaying their
Love of America, in their way, …and for the people in it, who have
enhanced for them, these gifts they wish to pass on to
us.
Yes, …we need Ted Cruz, and his passion for “…re-claiming the
Constitution” (which is so close to being lost), …no matter who nor
what that inconveniences.
We need his call to “Courageous Conservatives”, to get back to
“…re-igniting the Promise of America”.
We need him blasting ahead, even to the alienation of some in his own
party, with his belief in re-instituting a strict adherence to the
“Rule of Law” in America.
We need his outspokenness, his ignoring of the “normal” political ways
and means, and his belief that the people of the United States want to
throw off the complete and utter political nonsense of the last two
decades as much as he does, …and stand with him.
But we need him to be a bit more patient, sometimes, …and more
selective with the battles he chooses to fight, …as well as the timing
of some of his more prominent tussles.
And to be a bit more consistent, on issues of the heart, mind, and
government.
We also need Ben Carson, …and his love of his Lord, …for telling us
that “Doing the Right Thing” (in his mind, at least, and in the text of
his Bible), …should always take precedence.
We need his all-out war on Political Correctness, and all its cultural
ramifications.
We especially need him speaking out on the Welfare “Plantation” Culture
mentality, which stymies Black people in America from moving
ahead.
And on the thinking that Black Americans are “victims”, …and on the
irresponsibility of so many Black men in America, who create so many
Fatherless Families, while giving in to the inner-city drug and crime
cultures.
Dr. Carson speaks to all, not just Blacks, in this regard.
And we desperately need him telling us about “accountability” for our
actions, and the rewards (both personal and financial) which can be
attained in this country, through perseverance and hard
work.
We just need him to keep certain opinions, of certain lifestyles, to
himself, …to keep his deep-seeded religion under slightly tighter
control, …and to not say the first thing that pops into the front of
his head, before the back of his brain has a moment to sort it
out.
But we also need Elizabeth Warren, …and her uncompromising commitment
to the Middle Class.
We need her fighting for Consumer Protection and Student Loan reform,
and for changes in the Bankruptcy laws, as they pertain to catastrophic
medical issues and situations.
And we need her thoughts, like them or not, on Minimum Wage increases,
…and on “sharing the wealth”, as she sees it, between all of those
Americans who have worked hard all their lives, …with some benefitting
more from America’s opportunities, while others have not been as
fortunate.
We just need her to understand a little better, the real ways of
American business, and the economics of running a company, or industry,
and what a major effect labor costs have on them.
Agree with them, or not, …we need these folks, ALL of them, …who speak
to us directly, …who have no real political agenda behind their words
and candor, …and who believe simply, that there is a better way.
Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Paul Ryan, Scott Walker, …all speak from their
hearts, and from their experiences, as well. We
need them too.
Even “crazy” (my opinion) Michael Bloomberg, who never met a
liberal/social cause he couldn’t swallow whole, is believable for his
passion in wanting to “fix” what’s wrong with America.
Doesn’t hurt that he could quite comfortably affect many of these
repairs, …with the loose change bouncing around under the seats in one
of his Lear jets.
They all have political affiliations, and certain support groups, but
their “Truths” do not start, nor end there.
And what they wish to get done for America has much more to with what
they think is right for America, …than who gets elected next, and who
controls the power and the purse strings.
I have disagreements with all of the people mentioned above, …some,
quite obviously, much more than others. But I admire
all of them for being forthright, passionate, …and real.
And I am so sick and tired of the “politics as usual” in Washington,
and in America in general, that I am willing to give any of them a
chance.
Unlike the so-called “leaders” we are saddled with today, …of our own
making and choosing. Disgraceful, Depressing, and
downright Disgusting.
The lying, deceitful, manipulative, corrupt, political “lifers”, …the
likes of Pelosi, Harry Reid, Boehner, Mitch McConnell, John Kerry, and
hundreds of others, along with anyone named Clinton, just absolutely
have to go, …and right now.
I didn’t mention the biggest lying disgrace of all, as well as his
henchmen and operatives, because they will all, thankfully and
hopefully, fade into infamy after the 2016 election.
The Road Back, …from the perilous brink where we currently find
ourselves, …will have to be paved with the Truths of people who we find
a way to believe in, …and who believe in themselves, and in their own
ideas and methods.
If we can’t find these people, …and let them try, …or don’t give those
who do show promise a simple chance, then we won’t be on that brink for
very much longer.
Good leaders are never perfect, …in all ways.
But bad leaders can be perfectly ruinous, …in too many
ways.
Endure, and fight for, …the next two years. And then
please choose more wisely, America, …in 2016.
