WHAT’S YOUR PLEASURE?
I should lobby
For my hobby
Which is to garden.
I big your pardon
If yours is to shop
Or travel non-stop.
Some folks sing, craft, or knit,
See a show, test their wit,
Exercise or run,
Golf or dance for fun.
Others may choose to cook,
Meditate, read a book.
So when you’re feeling antsy,
Just do what fits your fancy.

LONELINESS
There is loneliness in a crowd
When ideas and words are spoken aloud
Without understanding.
Mind does not meet mind;
And soul is to soul as stone,
Cold and unfeeling.
Then those together
Are alone.
