Musings
of a Senior Scribe
She
Said - He Said
By Mona Lease
Hi,
all!! She said - "I thought
he knew. I thought he understood. They pulled the plug. They stood
around a
hospital bed and said good bye. They all had money in their pockets."
He
said - "My brother and I got
into a fight. He said I will never please a woman."
Another "she" said - "It was
designed to hurt you. You are a smart young man. You have a good work
ethic. You
are polite. You have a very good job with a reputable company that is
making
much money. You better worry that someone will try to make you look bad
there
or try to get you to give up all of it."
She
said - "I keep hearing about
the piles of wood. I keep hearing about all of the wild animals that
live there.
I keep hearing how they carry diseases. I keep hearing that rats,
possums,
raccoons and the like love to live in places like that. She said the
only
possible thing that could happen would be if one of them were rabid
(rabies)
and bit you. She said a rabid animal chasing you is "Hollywood
stuff." She said if they were rabid - they would be sick and hide. She
said IF you got rabies - it could be cured. It would be painful - but
curable.
She said the real problem would be that they get into trash cans or
trash bags.
It would be a mess - but not life threatening. She said try to call one
of
these animals to you. They run from you.
She
said these woodpiles are not what
we are used to seeing. We are used to a $200+ Vectren bill with the
$100 DPL
backer. She said these people spend countless hours and energy on this
stuff.
She said these same people will let their daughter get into a car with
a wolf -
eyes gleaming and heart full of bad intent.
She
said some schools want to start
sex education in Kindergarten. And some schools want to eliminate
cursive hand
writing. She asked me - "Do you see what I am saying?" I lowered my
head. I said - "Yes, I see."
What
has man done unto man?"
Remember
the kiddies and our service
people. Be good to the furry and feathered ones out there. Be safe and
healthy.
See ya next time. Ever Toodlers!! MONA
