In
Memory

Hi,
all!! He said, "Tell the One who leads you to stop. We are
dying. We can't take this. We can't work and deal with all of this
trouble and strife." The citizens banded together for strength,
moral support and the "helping hand."
The
"One" listened and stopped causing the trouble. It did not
take long for the people to forget how bad the trouble really had
been. Somehow - Time dulled the memory of those who had died. It
dulled how much of a threat to life - on a daily basis - it had all
been. Trouble came again and the ugliness repeated itself. Yet again
- they took a hard look at themselves - at what was really important.
They banded together and survived another "round."
Wikipedia
of the Internet reads - "On 9/11.2001 - four passenger airliners
were hijacked by 19 al Qaeda terrorists and flown into buildings in
New York and the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. In just two short
hours, the North and South Towers of the World Trade Center collapsed
with a roar - belching smoke and fire.
This
last Wednesday - 9/11 - marked a dozen years since the original
event. May we never forget those who died. May we never forget those
who tried. May we never forget those cried and survived. Mostly - May
we never forget how easy it was to "get to know your neighbor"
- ideals, goals that might not be realized and the last good-bye some
never got.
Remember
the kiddies and our service people. Take good care of the furry and
feathered ones out there. Be safe and healthy. See ya next time. Ever
