Hi, all!! I've been
listening to people talk about the "Police Beat." I hear
how they do not like it - at all...it's too "blow-by-blow."
You faithful readers (thanks, again!) know how my mind works. From my
readings of the "author" of the Police Beat - he has always
shown you a path and given you the first step or two. You get to do
the "math" - if you like. On this particular one - I'll do
the math.
Remember reading about the
kid (25?) who took off his pants to have intercourse (ugly word for
what it supposed to be a beautiful act - that's just me, though.)
with the girl there and his wallet fell out on the floor (uh, ok - it
could happen)? No one wants to read this (the Officer probably did
not want to write it, either!). But, truthfully - Kid: you laid your
wallet on the ground (every guy I've seen get under a car puts the
wallet in a front pants pocket.) before you got under her car. If you
notice - the story changes twice. He said he thought he saw her take
it from the ground. Then it "fell out of his pants" when
he took them off in her presence...and some how half of the money was
gone when the wallet returned. This is an official police log - by
the way. "She" further stated that she would pay back the
money - but she did not take it. Now, for the "path' -
To the wallet's owner:
While the Officer was writing the above report (and other Officers
are writing similar reports judging by the Police and Court logs), a
man or woman could have called 911 for help - maybe they had a heart
attack. Maybe a child was struck by a car. The Police and Sheriff's
Office respond to all 911 calls as well as their own calls. Maybe
while you were changing your story - your own father, mother, sister,
brother, aunt, uncle, or someone else you really "love" -
needed some real help and the Officer was listening to a story of
stolen money, drugs, etc. Here's another truth" Unless people
change - you (and all who tell these tales) might get a bad chest
pain - and with the hope that help is only a phone call away from you
- you dial 911. And the responding Officer who could help you (They
are all trained in CPR.) is listening to a guy tell him that he took
off his pants for a girl and his wallet fell on the floor. Bees to
you!
I read somewhere that a
whole bunch of people were in bad trouble. They called on a guy they
thought had some sort of a "connection" with a Higher Up"
that could fix the problem. The problem left and for a while the
people were better. Then they drifted into their old ways. In that
vein - A woman I watched get caught in a Meth Lab bust - lose her
kiddie - get back the kiddie -complete all the requirements to get
off probation - told me she is going back to the "pot-smoking"
the very day she gets her "Freedom Papers" from the court.
Inside her head (and too many others) it is her Mom's fault, the
step-Dad's fault, the ex-husband's fault, etc. (None of whom were at
the Lab bust.). The above two scenarios are directly due to no one
taking responsibility (That word is about as bad as any cuss word,
lately!).There is a point where you better yourself on your own. I'd
say the proof is in the Police Beat.
And, to balance the bees -
here are some "butterflies." At the Darke County Animal
Shelter they have a dog park - Scentral Park. This is a non-profit
venture by the Friends of the Shelter ...FOS. I stopped out
there..it's surrounded by a chain link fence with a gravel walking
oval they hope to asphalt. Strategically placed park benches complete
the setting. To raise money for this; they recently had a "Get
your pet's picture taken with the Easter Bunny." I took
advantage of that since my dog does not know or care if the Easter
Bunny is real. This FOS project is worth the effort! It's free - just
abide by the rules (be responsible!).
Remember the kiddies and
our service people. Take good care of the furry and feathered ones
out there. Be safe and healthy. See ya next time. Ever Toodles!! MONA
