Stray Thoughts??
By Mona Lease
Hi, all!! The following started out when I saw a commercial - as it
were - on the internet. It showed a somewhat scruffy looking guy
wearing a thong-style, one-piece, women's swimsuit. The caption under
it read: "Would you want your daughter in a public restroom with
this?" This was posted by those who do not want men in drag, in
the women's restroom. OK - So:
I was taking a mandatory class. We had a teacher who would let us talk
and interject our "stray" thoughts and ideas at will. He called it
"rabbit-trailing." You know - you're chasing a live rabbit and out of
nowhere...zip - it goes off to the right at a perfect 45-degree angle.
Whoa - wasn't expecting that!! With that said - I've listened to:
I personally, was raised hearing: "If someone grabs you that you do not
know - cut loose with a scream...scream loud...scream long. It
does not matter if it's a public street that's deserted or a public
restroom. It doesn't matter if it's the police station or the
courthouse - or a school....scream...keep screaming until you are
saved...scream until someone frees you."
I've heard: "What about the cross-dressers who are "flawless" - you'd
swear it was a female - a hot, good-looking female. You could have been
in a public unisex restroom with them on a daily basis and never known
it."
I've heard: "What about my rights as a heterosexual male? I don't want
a woman dressed as a male in there while I'm trying to use the
restroom. I was born with my parts. There's a "man code" to using the
facilities."
I've heard: "This "cross-dressing" stuff has gone on since the dawn of
time. The only reason the hype about it is being heard now is because
we, as a people, have started giving other groups their "rights" and
now the "rights-chasers" have taken it to public restrooms. For real -
two guys pawing all over each other against the wall outside of a
building, in broad daylight and no one says anything to them. When was
the last time you saw a male and female do that?
There are laws against that kind of display - public indecency - or
something like that."
I've heard: "In the USA, we worry too much about petty stuff. People
are worried about a cross-dressing man going into a public restroom??
It's a public place! How many people go in and out of this public
restroom in 15 minutes - say at WalMart - or Kroger's - or the city
park? But you let your kiddies run with other kiddies and not get a
phone number to the other kiddie's home, parent's names, address, house
rules, curfew (if any), etc?"
I've heard: "God made them that way, you say? You say God knit them
together in the womb? You say God knew them before they were born -
knew they would practice homosexuality - created them that very way?
Leviticus 20:13 says they have committed an abomination in God's eyes
and He made them to do that??"
The above is a list of examples I've heard. There are more - ,many
more. They are all a different twist on the above themes. I find the
last one very intriguing. And - I'd practice the first one, ya'll.
Scream and don't stop. Hmm - wonder if that would work for a few
lawmakers?!!
Remember the kiddies and our service people. Take good care of the
furry and feathered ones out there. Be safe and healthy. See ya next
time. Ever Toodles!! MONA
