Enough Already

Hi, all!! It's not stopped since our Presidential Election decided that
Donald Trump was our next President - someone cheated for Trump -
Russia "helped" our presidential outcome.
A US District Judge will not dismiss a lawsuit filed by three
protesters who say then-candidate Donald Trump encouraged violence
against them at one of his (Trump's) rallies. Trump University gets
sued and loses. A reported 3,700 former students are to receive
reimbursement.
Another District Judge (of Hawaii) upgraded a temporary restraining
order to block the enforcement of President Trump's revised travel ban.
House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman,
Richard Burr, say they have seen no evidence to confirm that the Obama
Administration used a wire tap on Trump as President Trump has claimed.
President Trump's "budget" boosts the military while cutting the EPA
and State Department. Someone, somewhere in our government (I forget
where, I was reaching for an airsick bag) wants protection in exchange
for information he supposedly has about the "Russian hacking" into our
presidential election system. Someone else in our government needs to
know they will be protected as they have information we need concerning
our government's "dealings."
No - you can't say "Happy Easter"...Easter is a pagan holiday. You have
to call it "Resurrection Sunday" - therefore you'd say "Happy
Resurrection Sunday" - right? Hunting Easter Eggs is wrong...it's
pagan...somehow. The Easter Bunny is not real - does not leave an
easter basket - and does not lay colored eggs like he (she?) brings. I
say all of this because I've listened to all of this for the last 20
years and I've taken time to watch the kiddies' reactions to this.
Moving past any remarks or questions I'd have here:
"Whatever you call "that Sunday"...everyone agrees it was a day in
history that "something happened"....and is a day to actually "do"
something....Spring always follows "this Sunday." And we all see signs
- fat robins hopping in the yard...a male robin inspecting a stray
dried-up leaf for it's suitability for the nest...before "this Sunday."
I wonder if we quit the incessant nit-picking and focused on something
more important - would that give us our desired answers...less drug
usage...less crime in our home towns?? Now, don't get all bent out of
shape here but, - Russia was our ally in one of our World Wars...Russia
was a large presence in stopping Hitler...which benefitted people world
wide. I'm not saying we should not be aware of what's happening...but
Trump is President. I think we need to impeach him or be quiet and live
our lives. We have kiddies watching how we respond to this stuff. We -
as a people - did not kick up this much of a fuss over Obama and say -
the Affordable Health Café Act. I'll leave you with something more
palatable - it's Spring.
Pussy Willows: According to an old Polish legend, a Mother cat was
crying at the bank of a river in which her kittens were drowning. The
willows at the river's edge longed to help her, so they swept their
long graceful branches into the waters to rescue the kittens who had
fallen into the river while chasing butterflies. The kittens gripped on
tightly to the branches and were safely brought to the shore. Each
springtime since, goes the legend, the willow branches sprout tiny
fur-like buds at their tips where the kittens once clung.

Toddlers To-Do List: Ask for a sandwich. Refuse to eat the sandwich.
Complain that their sandwich was taken away from them. Cry about not

And, every day, the world will drag you by the hand, yelling "This is

worry about this! And this! And this!" And each day it's up to you to
yank your hand back, put it on your heart and say, "No, this is what's
important."
Remember the kiddies and our service people. Take good care of the
furry and feathered ones out there. Be safe and healthy. See ya next
