Mind, Body, Soul
Improving
By Mona Lease
Greetings, Gals!! Keep pushing - keep exercising - keep stretching. Be
consistent - it's the key to success. Whether you do one set of the
exercises from this last July...or you do three sets (no more) - keep
to the routine. You can't "make up for lost time" with this.
While we're looking at Christmas with the food and New Years' and it's
"resolutions" - consider the following:
How Confident People Set Themselves Up For Success:
1)Always, Always, Always Be Yourself: No matter what you want to
achieve, it needs to come from a place of truth within yourself.
Whatever you do, you'll go through ups and downs. To make it through
this, you need to have a solid foundation of who you are.
2)Don't Believe In Limits: Once you become fearless, life becomes
limitless. It's smart to know and understand your own personal limits.
Dreaming big allows your mind to immediately see how you get to the
outcome you desire. This allows you to pinpoint your goal and you can
make a plan to get there.
3)Feed The Passion And Let It Fuel Your Work Fire: If you really want
to improve your desire, you have to be willing to weather storms. If
you only go through the motions and lack a burning desire, the road can
become impassable.
4)Forget The Snooze Button And Get Up Early: Without sacrificing sleep,
the most successful people commit to waking early. Most high-achievers
get up three hours before their day actually starts.
5)Commit To A Productive Morning Routine: Take full advantage of rising
early and go for a morning jog, a brisk walk, or meditate. It
sets the tone for the day.
6)Be Willing And Ready To Adapt: People behave in surprising ways.
Circumstances change. Outside influences constantly transform the
nature of some people's realities. The most successful people don't
rigidly expect certain outcomes. They know the world is constantly
changing. You may desire a specific outcome, but being willing to adapt
in the face of seeming failure gives you adaptability and resilience.
And this can make a huge difference.
7)Saying "Sorry" Can Be A Strength Not A Weakness: Too often people
think vulnerability and admission of making mistakes is a sign of
weakness. Being willing to self-reflect and openly admit mistakes makes
you more grounded and genuine. You can then be open and honest to
improving in the future.
8)Force Yourself To Get Lucky By Staying In The Game: By it's very
nature, you can't force luck. Preparation and hard work will pay off
and you'll break through to the next level. Take advantage of every
opportunity and stay in the game.
9)Exercise That Imagination And Read Regularly: Reading keeps your mind
sharp...if you focus on more than news articles on the internet. The
most successful people take time to really exercise their imagination
by reading autobiographies, fiction, classics, etc on a regular basis.
10)Know That Risks Are Inevitable And Approach Them Fearlessly: You
alleviate stress when you embrace failure. You then look for ways to
try new adventures and new connections.
11)Expect And Embrace Failure: Failure is inevitable. Super-achievers
quickly recover and learn from each failure.
12)Get Yourself Organized: If you don't spend 10 minutes every day
looking for what you need - you have more time to move toward your next
goal and you aren't drained of energy over a not-needed negative action.
13)Be Willing To Do The Work: No matter how much you believe in
yourself - you have to do the work. Keep the perspective of these tips.
Ask for help when you need it. This way - you'll be more willing to dig
deeply and pursue your passion.
"Sometimes all you need is for someone to just be there, even if they
can't solve your problems. Just knowing there is someone who cares can
make all the difference." sun.gazing.com
