Greetings, Gals!! The weather is actually not bad. The price of gas is
bad...$2.49 a gallon for regular as I pen this. And it will rise...the
summer season has not "officially" kicked off yet. The price of food is
rising...along with everything else. For those of you who say, "I like
beer"...this one's for you!

After you update your passport and pack your suitcase...check how much
a pint of beer will cost you. This varies from country to country.
Hong Kong is home to the most expensive brews. You'll pay an average of
$10.86 per pint in this city. In Miami and New York (USA) the average
cost is $8.97 per pint.
Geneva, Switzerland has an average of $10.77 a pint for beer.
Tel Aviv, Israel charges $9.53 a pint for the frothy brew.
Cities With the Cheapest Pints of Beer
Bratislova, Slovakia has a price tag of $2.22 a pint.
Delhi, India will charge you $2.31 for a pint of beer.
Kiev, Ukraine says their price tag for a pint of beer is $2.36.
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam will sell you a pint for $2.58.
Krakow, Poland sells pints of beer for $2.70.
For you lovers of beer and munching the hard-boiled eggs...I submit the
following. Or you can skip the beer...maybe enjoy the following egg
"muffin" while watching a sunrise.
Taste of Home - Scrambled Egg Hash Brown Cups
Ingredients: 1 package (20 oz) refrigerated Southwest style shredded
hash brown potatos, 6 large Egglands Best eggs, 1/2 cup of 2% milk, 1/8
t of salt, 1 T of butter, 10 thick-sliced bacon strips cooked and
crumbled, 1 1/4 cups shredded Cheddar Monteray Jack cheese divided.
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Divide potatos among 12 greased muffin
cups; press onto bottoms and up sides to form a cup. Bake 18-20 minutes
or until golden brown.
2) Meanwhile - in a small bowl whisk eggs, milk, and salt. In a large
nonstick skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Pour in egg mixture;
cook and stir until eggs are thickened and no liquid remains. Stir in
bacon and 3/4 cup of cheese. Spoon into cups, sprinkle with the
remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
3) Bake 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Cool 5 minutes
before removing from the pan.
