Falsies
and Falsities
By Mona Lease
Hi, all!!! I'm giving you readers the following to ruminate on...to
chew on...or otherwise consider.
In the USA...and maybe the world over...we're working under a
delusion. We're operating daily under a false sense of security. I'll
amend this . We - as a people - are operating under a false sense of
security. For the faint of heart: Read no further.
We have tanning salons. Multiplied billions across the US are spent
here. Doesn't the tan look good? It's a falsie.
The women with the really long eyelashes? Falsies.
The people with nice, sparkling white, even teeth? Most of the time -
falsies.
The long, shiny, manicured fingernails you see on women? Most of the
time - falsies.
Of all of the glittering diamonds you see people wearing? Again - much
of the time...falsies. Synthetic diamonds are said to be: The only 100%
conflict-free, ethical and eco-friendly diamonds. Come on...diamonds
come from coal and pressure over millions of years. How is this NOT
"eco-friendly?"
Synthetic Oil: This stuff is made from a base of...crude oil and
"modified" physically and chemically. The actual synthesis process and
composition of additives is generally a commercial "trade secret"...a
falsie.
Synthetic Urine: This baffled me, too!! It's made of water, organic and
inorganic urea, creatinine, uric acid, chlorides, sulfates, phosphates,
etc. For people who know they will not pass a drug test but want or
need to pass it. Another falsie.
Synthetic Blood: This surprised me, too! It's made from the stem cells
extracted from the umbilical cord blood of newborn babies or the blood
of adult donors. While it's still in the trial stage...it's a falsie or
maybe a falsity.
We have women with sagging skin and a nice bust line. More falsies.
We have date sites on the computer. People put up old pictures from
when they were young. They show up on a date all "saggy." Falsies (by
deception) and probably a falsity.
January 23, 2013: Huffington Post. The Dominican Republic continues to
be the main command center for drug trafficking in the Caribbean. Much
of the drugs are moved through New York airports and in through Miami,
Florida.
Panga boats are modest-sized fishing boats that are used to move heroin
(or any drug) from Mexico to the west coast of California. August 7,
2013: US Customs and Border Protection, along with Air Force and Marine
agents stopped a Panga off the California coastline. It was filled with
bales of marijuana worth $4 million.
February 21. 2016: A US citizen...Shekira Thompson...aged 24 years, was
stopped by federal agents after arriving in New York's JFK airport. She
flew from Kingston, Jamaica carrying half of a pound of cocaine
vaginally. Street value? $10,000.
Between July and September of 2014, a federal letter carrier assigned
to a Woodstock route, said he knowingly delivered packages containing
heroin. He was fired and sentenced to 30 months in prison. The letter
carrier gave drug dealers addresses along his route and they mailed
packages to that location using false names. The drug dealers told the
letter carrier, through texts and phone calls, what the packages looked
like. The letter carrier would scan the packages as "delivered" using
the postal tracking system. He then took the packages to the real
destination.
February 28, 2013: Lake Erie. Lorain County. A raid netted $40,000
worth of drugs and 40 firearms from assault-style to tommy guns to
semi-automatic pistols. Drugs were: 75 grams of heroin, 20 grams of
cocaine, 591 grams of marijuana, and $5,200 in cash. There was over a
1,000 rounds of ammunition, 15 additional magazines, and 3 different
types of silencers.
In 1973, Japanese Customs opened transfer cases (a type of casket) and
found that all of the bodies had had their internal organs removed and
then stuffed with bags of pure heroin.
May 1, 2017: Border Patrol...Tuscon, Arizona: Worth more than $33,000,
a hearse was stopped near Tombstone, Arizona. In the casket was 67
pounds of marijuana. It was covered with manure to mask the smell.
To say that putting up a wall between Mexico and the USA to stop
illegals and drugs from entering the USA is a falsity. President Trump
might actually have the right idea - IF Mexico will put more patrol on
their side of the border.
A truism is: If there is a market for a product - any product - there
will be someone to deliver said product. I refer you to the Black
Market. (This may all be found on Wikipedia).
Remember the kiddies and our service people. Take good care of the
furry and feathered ones out there. Be safe and healthy. See ya next
time. Ever Toodles!!! MONA
