Edison Chargers kicks
off new season with a new face
Roster includes two Darke County High School graduates
With the new academic year ready to begin the Edison volleyball team
kicked off their 2011 campaign as they hosted the Central Ohio
Invitational Tournament. Some of the top teams in the country
participated in this annual event.
After a highly successful 2010 season, in which the Edison Chargers
volleyball team competed for a its first-ever conference title and held
a national ranking, the program lost eight players to graduation.
While the expectations for the upcoming 2011 season remain high, Edison
volleyball will have an entirely brand new face. In fact, seven
of them. The Lady Chargers’ roster is compiled of seven freshmen
and one sophomore.
