A full slate of games are on tap for tonight’s girls action in Darke
County.
Tri-Village will put its 5-0 mark on the line tonight against the
winless Ansonia Tigers.
After thumping National Trail Saturday 52-33, the Lady Patriots
traveled to Houston Tuesday and handed the Wildcats a 53-37 loss.
Through five games, the Patriots are averaging 66.2 points per game on
offense and allowing just 35.6 points a game on defense. On the opening
night of the Burkett, Tri-Village allowed a putrid 19 points to Arcanum
and the most the team has allowed to be scored on them is 49, that by
Lehman Catholic in the third game of the season.
With senior Kayla Linkous and juniors Teha Richards, Krystal Falknor
and Shaye Thomas, the Lady Pats have been unstoppable to this point.
Also on the Thursday night docket, Bradford will look to get in the win
column at National Trail with Mississinawa Valley looking to go to 2-0
on the season at Covington. Franklin Monroe will travel to Miami East
and Arcanum visits Tri-County North.
The game of the night will see Versailles and Parkway squaring off at
Versailles.
Also the Greenville
Reserve wreslers will be in action tonight at Greenville. This is
reserve only according to the Greenville school website. Action is
slated to begin at 5:30. The Wave will battle Miamisburg, Piqua,
Covington and Brookville.
