Wave Bowlers unable to post wins in
tourneys

Monday
Greenwave Bowlers traveled to
Fairborn to bowl Fairborn and Northmont in another Tri-Match.
The
Boys bowled well, but couldn’t
keep up with either Fairborn or Northmont. Northmont beat both schools
at 2660
to Fairborn’s 2505 and Greenville’s 2083.
Sophomore
Trever Mann led the Wave
bowling a 191 and 209 for a 400 2-game series. Not far behind was
Freshman
Korey Garland rolling games of 180 and 190.
Trever
Mann raises his average to
189.8 with Sophomore Tim Ball also raising his average to 172.8 and
Korey
Garland at 172.3.
The
Wave fall to 3-8 and 2-8 in the
GWOC. The Boys are tied for 3rd place. With Sidney (also with 2 wins)
ahead of
winless Trotwood-Madison and Piqua.
Lady
Wave posts second in tourney
The
Ladies fared well tonight against
Northmont and Fairborn. The Lady Wave lost to Fairborn(1874), and beat
Northmont(1630) with the Lady Wave at 1646.
Junior
Lizzie Hart rolled a season
high 385 2-game series with games of 180-205. She raised her average to
team
high 156.9.
Junior
Natalie Blinn followed Hart’s
lead with a 184 game and a 315 series with Sophomore Shelby Shumaker
close
behind shooting 307 for her 2 games as well.
The
Ladies improve to 3-8 on the season and
2-8 in the GWOC. The Ladies climbed out of the basement to 5th in the
GWOC
North ahead of last place Trotwood-Madison.
