week
This Week in Sports...

With Saturday being Christmas Eve, there will be no sports action in
Darke County but many things are on tap for the week leading up to
Saturday.
Monday: The Greenville bowling team will travel to Fairborn for a 4
p.m. match.
The Arcanum girls will host Brookville beginning at 5:30 while the
Ansonia girls will travel to Houston for a 6 p.m. game (varsity only)
and the Franklin Monroe Lady Jets will head to Fort Recovery for a 6
p.m. battle with the Indians.
Tuesday: Bradford will travel to Mississinawa Valley for a 6 p.m. boys
basketball game between the county rivals. Ansonia will welcome
Tri-County North, Tri-Village will host Twin Valley South, Arcanum will
travel to Newton and Greenville will travel to Troy all for 6 p.m.
starts.
The Versailles Tigers swim team will head to Van Wert for a 6:30 meet.
Wednesday: Greenville will host Oakwood in girls basketball, tip is set
for 5:30.
Thursday: Arcanum will head to Bradford for a county girls basketball
contest at 5:30, with the Ansonia girls playing at Covington.
Franklin Monroe will battle Twin Valley South in the Hangar,
Mississinawa Valley host Tri-County North, and Miami East will go to
the Battleground for a big CCC game with Kayla Linkous and the Lady
Patriots. The Greenville boys basketball will host Vandalia Butler at 6
p.m.
Friday: Mississinawa Valley will play at Arcanum and Franklin Monroe
will play at Bradford in boys hoops action. The Versailles boys will
welcome Lehman Catholic while Ansonia goes to National Trail and
Tri-Village will head to Tri-County North. Arcanum wrestling will
compete at Tipp City Friday also.

Pipenger and the Patriots will host Twin Valley South Tuesday
in a key Cross County Conference battle.
