JV Boys and Girls Bowling Teams Win 1st Match

The Versailles Girls & Boys JV Teams won their first match of the season in Coldwater at PlaMor Lanes. The girls faced the Minster Wildcats and the boys were slated to bowl the Van Wert Cougars.

The girls won by the slim margin of 1,822 to 1,774. Leading the JV girls were Joanna Cruz and Tori Monnich rolling a 148 and Brooke leach with a 147.

The boys won with no problem due to Van Wert being disqualified for the 1st match. The boys rolled a respectable 2,265. Zach Marshal led the JV boys with a 192 followed by Ryan Watren with a 165 and Joel Hemmelgarn with a 156.

JV Boys Roster: Zach Marshal, Ben Ahrens, Dustin Ruhe, Joel Hemmelgarn, Matt Grilliot, Ryan Watren, Drew Martin, Grant Toops, John Poeppleman, Josh Davis, Tony Bey and Kenny Nagel.
