Playing For A Cause
These two teams played tonight for a cause and it wasn’t all about
winning or losing but a much bigger picture, awareness of breast
cancer. As we all know, somebody at some time is touched by this
disease. The purpose of playing for a cure is to raise money and
awareness.
Franklin Monroe won the first two games by taking advantage of Bradford
miscues. Determination brought the Railroaders back by winning the next
two games. Bradford dominated the fifth game and continued to play
solid volleyball winning the game and match.
The final highlight of the night was a combined effort by both teams to
raise funds to support the ongoing effort to battle breast cancer.
