TV takes top spot in Patriot Invitational

The Patriot Invitational is contested at Graham Farm annually. 

This year, Tri-Village won its invitational with five Patriot runners finishing in the top 10 of the race, with Clayton Murphy winning it for the Patriot boys. 

Eleven schools competed in the annual event with eight coming from the Cross County Conference, as Ansonia and Bradford wrap up the top three spots. 

Tri-Village won the high school boys meet with 18 points. Ansonia was the runner up with 69 points, Bradford finished third with 71 points, and Tri-County North placed fourth with 98 points. 

Arcanum, Houston, Miami East, National Trail, Newton, Seton Catholic and Twin Valley South also competed but didn’t field full teams.
