Tri-Village Lady Patriots... A Season to Remember

MADISON- At the end of the 2011 basketball season, Tri-Village coach
Brad Gray and his team vowed that 2012 was not going to end the same
way. For two straight years, the Lady Patriots had their season cut

THE PATRIOTS COMMUNITY
|
After winning the regional title over Ft. Loramie, the Tri-Village
community got into the spirit of going to state. A house painting and a
big send-off was just part of the celebration. Patriot Pride was huge
in the girls run to the state semi-finals as fans made the trip in huge
numbers as a show of force and support to the team. Basketball has long
been the number one sport at Tri-Village and will always be a fan... Read

LADY PATRIOTS IN ACTION
|
Heather Ferris is one player that will be huge in the future of Lady
Patriot basketball. Ferris, along with Teha Richards, Krystal Falknor,
Liz Collins, Echo Brown and a host of others will anchor the Patriots
during the 2012-13 basketball campaign. Finishing the regular season
with a 19-1 record, the Patriots will once again look to march to

THE ROAD TO COLUMBUS, PART 1
|
The road to Columbus started with huge wins over Jefferson, Bethel and
Bradford in the sectionals at Brookville. The second step came with
another lopsided victory over Miami Valley at the district level. The
first real challenge came in the Regional semi-finals with an overtime
victory against a very tough New Knoxville squad. That set up the

THE ROAD TO COLUMBUS, PART 2 |
Late on a Thursday afternoon, the girls loaded the bus, ready for that
100 plus mile trip east. A date with Berlin Hiland was on the docket
and a determined bunch of Patriots were eager about the game Thursday.
The Patriots run ended that next day with the loss to Hiland but the
trip and that loss served only one purpose. It left an empty spot in
