The Road to
Columbus, Part 2
Late
on a Thursday afternoon, the girls loaded the bus, ready for that 100
plus mile trip east. A date with Berlin Hiland was on the docket and a
determined bunch of Patriots were eager about the game Thursday.
The Patriots run ended that next day with the loss to Hiland but the trip and that loss served only one purpose.
It left an empty spot in the bellies of nine returning players. An
empty spot than can only be filled with the big gold trophy that awaits
the 2012-13, D-IV State Champions.
