Local
drivers/trainers have stellar day of racing

GREENVILLE- It was another stellar day for local drivers and trainers
as well as owners at the Darke County Fair Thursday.
Jeff Nisonger, Tom Hope and Jeff Bolyard all got wins while many others
got second and third place finishes.
Nisonger picked up four more wins on the day, putting his win total
into double digits.
The first of the day came in the opening race of the afternoon with Off
Likea Prom Dress went the distance in 2:01.1.
Nison ger picked up three moe victories in the evening session driving
Rose Run Oriana in the fifth in the first division of the H M Parshall
Memorial Futurity Trot.
His second win of the night happenen in the seventh in the first
division of the H M Parshall Memorial Futurity pace for three year old
fillies with the final one coming in the tenth as he drove Blueridge
Casino to the winners circle in 2:07.
Nisonger also picked up three seconds and one third on the day.
Jeff Bolyard went the distance with Quiet Charmer in the second race of
the afternoon in 2:04.4. Bolyard also took a second place finish in the
fifth race of the night, finishing behind Nisonger.
Dave Brumbaugh took a third in the afternoon session as did Tom Hope.
Hope also had a second in the evening races.
Christopher Hope finished the day with a third as Did Mandy Jones.
Bobby Werner also got a third in the seventh of the afternoon session
driving Call Me Flash. Gavin Bixler took a second in the third race of
the night with Deb's Family Circle.
