Wave now 8-2 in Duels
Monroe takes
Annual Wave Duels
Greenville- Once again, the annual Wave duels were snatched away from
host Greenville Saturday.
A year ago, it was Celina that handed the Wave grapplers their lone
defeat, taking home the coveted American Eagle trophy.
Two years ago, the Wave went 1-4 in the tournament.
With a loss to Celina earlier in the day, the Wave needed a win over
Monroe to force a three-way tie as the Hornets had already topped the
Bulldogs.
It wasn't to be as the Wave finished third while Monroe completed the
day with a 5-0 mark.
The Wave, 8-2 in duels, will host Coldwater, Brookville and Tipp City
Tuesday starting at 5:30 tonight.
Also tonight, Versailles will host Indian Lake in a duel match starting
at 6 p.m.
Saturday, the Versailles Wrestling Invitational with beging at 10 a.m.
Arcanum will be on hand to compete.

Keegan Artz will be someone the Trojans will be looking at in the
future to help lead the Arcanum
wrestling program. Artz scored a pin over Miami East's Ben Willinbrini
