tonight

DARKE COUNTY- Three boys sectional games are on tap for tonight’s
action in the OHSAA Tournament.
In the D-III Tecumseh sectional, top seed Versailles will do battle
with the Northridge Polar Bears. Versailles got a huge first round
victory over National Trail in the opening round, 61-34. Barring a
disaster, the Tigers will see third round action at the University of
Dayton on Friday.
Also on tap will be Arcanum. The Trojans took a first round bye in the
Troy sectional and will play the number four seed, Troy Christian.
These two teams have met once this year in the Jet Tournament during
the Christmas break. In the consolation game of the tournament, the
Eagles topped the Trojans 49-35. Arcanum will look to get even tonight.
In the third game of the evening, Greenville will meet up with top seed
Urbana in the D-I sectional in Springfield.
All three games start at 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday night, Tri-Village will be back in action against Yellow
Springs. The Patriots are fresh off a victory over Emmanuel Christian
on Saturday and will look to make it to the third round. At Piqua,
Bradford will clash with top seeded Jackson Center, a 57-47 winner over
Mississinawa Valley in the tournament opener.
These games are also set for 6:30 tip-offs.
A preview of the Tri-Village girls will be up-coming as the Lady
Patriots will look for a district crown Saturday at Tipp City against
Miami Valley.
