Bengals
reducing 2012 ticket prices
Friday, December 30, 2011
The
Cincinnati Bengals will reduce
many of its season-ticket prices for the 2012 season after only selling
out two
games for the 2011 NFL season.
No
season-ticket prices for next year
will increase, and prices for some seats will be as low as $40 per
game, down
from $60 this year, according to e-mails from the Bengals to
season-ticket
holders.

The
Bengals had difficulties selling
tickets to games at the 65,500-seat Paul Brown Stadium, resulting in TV
blackouts for 10 of the last 11 games at the stadium. All games that do
not
sell out are blacked out on television in the Dayton and Cincinnati
markets.
After
only about 41,000 tickets were
sold for last week’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, the Bengals
offered
two-for-one tickets for season-ticket holders for Sunday’s games
against the
Baltimore Ravens
. That game has been
declared a sell-out.
