Simpson Race Products continues Championship Awards
Ceremony Set for January 28, 2012

ROSSBURG, OH (January 19) – Eldora Speedway’s defending champions will be easily identifiable as they compete throughout the 2012 racing season; through a continued partnership with Simpson Race Products.

Kayla Kinser, from her Brownsburg, IN office of Simpson, remarked, “We pride ourselves in being partners with Eldora Speedway and Tony Stewart. Eldora Speedway is one of the world’s greatest race tracks and certainly a Midwest favorite among many. We have been honored to provide Eldora Speedway and its many champions and safety crew members with Simpson Race Products. We hope to continue this relationship for years to come.”

Receiving specially embroidered Simpson Race Products driver uniforms this year will be Brian Ruhlman and Jon Henry (Late Models), Jerry Bowersock (UMP DIRTcar Modifieds) and Rob Trent (Stock Cars). The awards will be distributed during Eldora’s annual Awards Celebration this Saturday (January 28) in the Eldora Ballroom.

“The grassroots level of racing is important to Simpson Race Products because it is where we evolved from. With our advancements in flame retardant products, 2010 Snell rated helmets, SFI approved head and neck restraints and new seat belt designs, we are always striving to make the safest products available to all types of racing.”, concluded Kinser.

In addition to the Simpson Race Products championship awards, hardware and point fund awards will be distributed to the top fifteen drivers in each division, along with the top 20 drivers in the Sunoco sponsored American Late Model Series.

While the Championship Awards Banquet is sold out, tickets are now on sale for Eldora’s 2012 major events, including the Feed The Children Prelude To The Dream, at www.EldoraSpeedway.com, by phone at (937) 338-3815 or at the box office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
