Weekly Sports Preview...

Now that all the basketball tournaments are in the books, it’s back to
business as usual in Darke County.
This week’s schedule is a loaded one and it starts off on Monday when
the Wave bowlers take to the lanes at Treaty Lanes against Fairmont in
a 4 p.m. start.
Tuesday, girls basketball heads the nightly schedule as Mississinawa
Valley will host Fairlawn, Ansonia will travel to Marion Local (Varsity
Only) and Bradford will travel to Parkway.
Also on Tuesday, the Franklin Monroe boys will play at Lehman Catholic
while the Greenville bowlers will be at home for a 5 p.m. match.
Wednesday will see the Lady Wave hosting Vandalia Butler in a GWOC,
varsity only game.
Thursday will show a full slate in the Cross County Conference for
girls hoops. Tri-County North will visit Tri-Village, Arcanum will be
at Mississinawa Valley, with National Trail going to Ansonia for a
varsity only game with Franklin Monroe going to Bradford.
Thursday will also see the Versailles wrestlers invade Greenville.
Ansonia and MV’s bowlers will be at McBo’s in Versailles.
Friday, Tri-Village will have its homecoming against National Trail,
Miami East will hook up with Ansonia, Bradford will host Troy Christian
and FM will visit Arcanum in boys action.
Also on Friday, the Wave swimmers will compete in Troy.
Saturday, the Wave swimmers will compete in the Sidney invitational
while the Wave wrestlers will be on split duty.
The Wave reserve wrestlers will head to Xenia while the varsity
grapplers will go to Troy.
In girls hoops action, Franklin Monroe will play at Versailles in a 1
p.m. start.
On the boys side of the ledger, Greenville will play host to Sidney
with Bradford traveling to Mechnicsburg.
