Wave bowlers defeat Rams

GREENVILLE- The Greenville bowling team went to 4-10, 3-10 GWOC (1-0 GWOC North) as the Wave topped Trotwood Madison Monday. 

On the girls side of the ledger, junior Lizzie Hart led the way for the Wave, rolling a 400 series as Greenville posted a slim victory over the Rams 1493-1475. 

Hart had games of 168 and 232 to help the Wave to gain the victory. 

For the Wave boys, things weren’t quite as close as Greenville popped Trotwood Madison, 2255-1544. 

Sophomore Trever Mann had games of 192 and 256 for a 448 series while freshman Korey Garland rolled games of 192 and  214 for a 406 series. 

Senior Seth hart had a 230 game and sophomore Austun Weimer bowled a 211 in support of the win. 

To date, Mann holds the teams high average at 188.1 and has a 450 series for top honors there. Senior Seth Hart’s 258 is high for the Wave in individual competition, single game. 

Lizzie Hart paces the Lady Wave rollers with a 164.1 average, a 232 game and a 400 series. 

The Wave will be in action next Tuesday at Troy.
