Sports schedules full
for all schools

DARKE COUNTY- As we enter the meat of the winter sports season, the
schedules for all schools are full, starting Monday when the Dixie Lady
Hounds visit Franklin Monroe in girls basketball action starting at
5:30 p.m.
Tuesday in girls basketball, St. Mary’s will battle Greenville in a
varsity only game at 6 p.m. Mississinawa Valley will go to the hoosier
side of the line for a meeting with the Lady Indians with the tip set
for 5:30 p.m.
Also on Tuesday, the Arcanum boys will tangle with Greenon on the road.
The Wave grapplers will hook up with Sidney on the mat while the Wave
Bowlers will head to Troy.
Wednesday, the Greenville bowlers will host Piqua at Treaty Lanes
starting at 4 p.m.
Thursday in girls basketball, Ansonia will be at Tri-County North for a
Varsity Only game, MV will travel to Bradford (5:30 p.m.), Franklin
Monroe will visit Brookville, Greenville is at Butler, Tri-Village will
go to Twin Valley South, Versailles is on the roar to Marion Local and
Arcanum will host Newton (5:30 p.m.). Unless otherwise noted, all games
are 6 p.m. starts.
At 6:30 Thursday, the Versailles grapplers will lock horns with the
Brookville Blue Devils.
Friday, the varsity boys hoops teams will do battle with the biggest
game on the schedule showing Tri-Village at Miami East in the Cross
County Conference. As seen by many, this could very well be for the CCC
title as both teams are undefeated in the conference. Also Friday
night, Ansonia will head east to Covington, Bradford will visit
Arcanum, the Jets look to invade Twin Valley South, West Carrollton
travels to Greenville, Mississinawa Valley is at Tri-County North and
Versailles will host Marion Local.
The Versailles wrestlers will be at Allen East to do battle.
Saturday, Samantha Shook will be representing Ansonia in gymnastics at
Marysville. No starting time was listed on the Ansonia website. The
Bradford powerlifters will be competing at West Liberty-Salem (time not
posted).
Girls basketball will see Bradford at Newton (1 p.m.), Greenville at
Coldwater (Noon), Lehman Catholic at Versailles (1:30), Tri-Village
will be at Pickerinton to play Reedsville Eastern (10 a.m. J-V and
11:45 a.m. Varsity) and FM at MV (1 p.m.).
Boys hoops will see Hillboro at Greenville, Riverside at Ansonia,
Madison Senior at Bradford, Mississinawa Valley at Versailles and
Tri-Village at St. Henry.
The Arcanum wrestlers will be at Tri-County North for a 10 a.m. start.
The Mississinawa Valley bowlers will hit the lanes Saturday morning at
10 a.m.and noon in a two shift bowling day with Coldwater and
Versailles.
On Saturday and Sunday at Miami University, the Southwest District
Classic Swim Meet will start at 8 a.m.
