Annual event raises $2,300

BRADFORD- Each year in the Curtis Enis era the Bradford football team
has made strides in the weight room and the results are showing by the
numbers put up in the annual Lift-A-Thon.
The players showcased their strength in three lifts – squat, bench,
deadlift – and the combined weight was tallied to determine winners in
each weight and age group. The event is also a fundraiser for the
program. The team raised $2,300 through the lift-a-thon this year.
The winners and runner-up for the 2012 Lift-A-Thon are as follows:
Lightweight Class: Grades 9-10
Champion – Brandon Mitchell (635 lbs.)
Runner-up – Daryen Booker (615 lbs.)
Lightweight Class: Grades 11-12
Champion – Daniel Cassel (925 lbs.)
Runner-up – Cory Rench (895 lbs.)
Middleweight Class: Grades 9-10
Champion – Cody Robinson (780 lbs.)
Runner-up – Justin Parks (555 lbs.) *Only two lifts recorded.
Middleweight Class: Grades 11-12
Champion – Nathan Voisard (1275 lbs.)
Runner-up – Jake Cline (1045 lbs.)
Heavyweight Class: Grades 9-10
Champion – Baily Powell (925 lbs.)
Heavyweight Class: Grades 11-12
Champion – T.J. Pullins (1140 lbs.)
Runner-up – Dallas Cassel (1065 lbs)
Super Heavyweight Class: Grades 11-12
Champion – Steven Gayhart (1300 lbs.)
