Dalton up for
Player of the Week
Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton has been recognized by the NFL for his
efforts in last Sunday's 31-13 victory over the defending NFL champion
New York Giants.
Dalton is one of three finalists for FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week
along with Saints QB Drew Brees and Ravens QB Joe Flacco.
Dalton completed 21 of 30 passes for 199 yards and a career-high four
touchdowns in leading the Bengals to a decisive victory.
Bengals fans can vote for Dalton now through Friday, November 16 at 3
p.m. ET to determine the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week. The winner
will be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on
NFL.com.
Fans will be voting for more than their favorite player. As part of the
Air & Ground program and its commitment to small business owners,
FedEx will support education efforts at Junior Achievement by making
weekly $2,000 donations in each of the winning players’ names. The
funding, allocated to local Junior Achievement area offices in that
team’s city or state, is used to help U.S. small business development,
by educating the next generation of entrepreneurs on how to start and
grow their own businesses.
