District taps Canan, Enis
Bradford takes
big honors
BRADFORD– After posting a very impressive 8-3 record during the 22012
prep football season, Bradford senior James Canan was named the
Southwest District's D-VI Offensive Player of the Year.
Canan totaled a remarkable 2,254 yeards during the Railroaders run to
the post season and scored 30 touchdowns on 194 carries.
In addition, Canan set rushing records for a game, the season and in a
career at Bradford.
Putting the cherry on the cake, coach Curtis Enis was named the D-VI
coach of the year in the Southwest District. Enis led Bradford to its
first winning season since 1994 and its first trip to the playoff's
since 1982 and the second playoff appearance for the school.
