Loss hurts
Versailes while Bradford holds steady after defeat
The statewide OHSAA computer polls were released Tuesday and despite a
loss to Miami East, the Bradford Railroaders remained unscathed, coming
in a tie for fourth place with the Minster Wildcats in the D-VI, Region
24 polls.
In the D-V, Region 20 polls, the Versailles Tigers dropped to 11th
after losing last week to Delphos St. John.
With two weeks left on the remaining schedule, neither team can afford
another loss if the playoffs are in their respective futures.
Friday, the Tigers will host Minster while the Roaders will entertain
winless Mississinawa Valley.
A win by Bradford coupled with a win by Versailles over Minster could
be huge in the standings after week nine as it would help the Roaders.
In the season finale, the Roaders will travel to Twin Valley South.
Versailles will also be on the road at St. Henry.
