Ryan Knapke shoots a 77 in 18 holes to help lead Versailles
FAIRBORN — The Versailles boys golf team won the Skyhawk Invitational and the Tigers’ Ryan Knapke won individual medalist honors at the Skyhawk Invitational.
Versailles shot a team score of 332 Monday at Greene Country Club to win the invitational by 23 strokes over Springfield. Fairborn was third with a 362, Wayne was fourth with a 371, Edgewood was fifth with a 406, and Yellow Springs was sixth with a 436.
Knapke shot a 40 on the front nine and a 37 on the back nine for a 77 in the 18-hole round to earn medalist honors.
Also for Versailles, Tyler Drees shot an 81 to finish third overall, and Mitchell Stover shot an 85 to finish fourth overall.
