top seed in the D-IV boys basketball
sectional held Sunday. The
Patriots tournament run will begin on Saturday, February 23 at 5 p.m.

Boys sectional pairings released
T-V seeded in the
top spot

DARKE COUNTY- Sunday, the 2013 boys sectional pairing were put in the
books and to the surprise of no one, the Tri-Village Patriots received
the top seed in the D-IV sectional.
The sectional games will begin on Friday, February 22 at Piqua High
School as the Ansonia Tigers will square off against the Fairlawn Jets.
The Tigers will be the only Darke County team to play on the opening
night of the tournament. That game is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The following night, at Piqua, the Bradford Railroaders will hook up
with Jackson Center in a 6 p.m. scheduled tip off.
Mississinawa Valley took a first round bye and will play the winner of
the game on February 27 at 6 pm.
On that same night in the Troy sectional, Tri-Village and Emmanual
Christian will get things underway in a 5 pm starting time with
Franklin Monroe and Cedarville will play each other at 8 pm.
If the Patriots and Jets continue to advance, the two Darke County team
will meet for the third time this year in the sectional finals to be
played on Saturday, March 2 at 7 pm.
Also in the D-IV sectional, the Arcanum Trojans will play the winner of
the Tri-County North/Yellow Springs game on the 23rd at 7:30.
In D-III, the Versailles Tigers received a number two seed and will
play in the Tipp City sectional on Saturday the 23rd against National
Trail starting at 7:30.
Greenville will venture to Springfield and will play the winner of the
Milton-Union/Graham game on Tuesday, February 26 at 6:30 pm.
