Bengals
to cut ticket prices
It
worked so well last season, the Cincinnati
Bengals are once again cutting some season-ticket prices for the
upcoming
season.
The
team said Monday it will lower prices for
tickets in 20 sections of Paul Brown Stadium for the 2013 season.
Tickets in
several sections that were priced at $50 per game last season will fall
to $40.
And the Bengals will reduce tickets in many sections that had been $60
per game
to $50.
“When
we reduced some sections to $40 for 2012,
the demand was high and they sold out quickly,” Andrew Brown, Bengals
ticket
manager, said in a news release. “Our fans saw it as a great value for
an NFL
game, and we will expand the number of those seats. We also think fans
will respond
very positively to some new opportunities for this year, including
seats as low
as $50 in the first rows of the upper deck.”
The
Bengals will put season tickets on sale
starting Wednesday at 9 a.m. Fans can buy tickets by calling
513-621-TDTD (8383)
or by visiting Bengals.com and clicking the “Tickets” tab.
“As
an organization we are committed to having
a full stadium for every game to give us a competitive advantage,”
Katie
Blackburn, Bengals executive vice president, said in the release. “We
believe
that our 2013 pricing model, in conjunction with the strong home
schedule, will
be very attractive to fans and will make tickets available at the right
prices
to help us to reach that goal.”
The
Bengals also will raise some prices this
year, marking the first time in four years they’ve done that. Season
tickets
for sideline seats in the lower bowl will rise from $80 to $85. That’s
based on
fan interest, Brown said.
