Robison,
Diceanu receive big honors
PITSBURG- Franklin Monroes Brian Robison and coach Danny Diceanu
received all-state honors from the Ohio Scholastic Coaches Association
for their accomplishments during the 2012 soccer campaign.
Diceanu was named the D-III coach of the year, taking the Jets to a
15-2-1 season.
Robison, a sophomore, led the team with 26 goals (7th in the state) and
15 assists and is the first FM sophomore to earn all state honors.
Jaden Horner and Lane Lucas have both recieved this honor in the past
at Franklin Monroe.

Trojans fall to
Marion Local
ARCANUM- Hall of Fame night wasn't enough to jump start Arcanum as the
Trojans took it on the chin, losing to Marion Local, 55-34 Saturday.
The Trojans held one lead in the game at 2-0 when Donnie Kress got the
game’s first bucket.
After that, it was all Marion Local as the Flyers held a 13-4 first
quarter lead.
Grady Garno led Arcanum with 11 points on the night. Also for the
Trojans, Mason Garber scored 10 in support.
Arcanum returns to action with home Cross County Conference games
against Newton Tuesday and Twin Valley South Friday. The Trojans then
play at Brookville Saturday.
V-Lady Tigers pop
Russia
VERSAILLES- Versailles took the opening points in the game Saturday
against backyard rival Russia and never looked back, rolling to a 55-49
victory over the Raiders.
Versailles was led by Krista Putoff with 17, her second highest scoring
output of the year. In a game against Tipp City, Putoff netted 22 in
that game.
With the win, the Lady Tigers improve to 15-1 and will host Marion
Local on Thursday in a big MAC showdown. Saturday, the Tigers will
welcome in the Lady Wave of Greenville in a noon junior varsity start
that was originally scheduled for 1 p.m.
