and girls hoops will highlight a full slate of prep sports
starting tonight. Wrestling and
swimming will also be on the agenda for

Big weekend in prep sports
The break is over
DARKE COUNTY- County schools will have a full slate of activities this
week-end starting tonight.
In basketball action tonight, the Wave will host Piqua in a GWOC North
game while the Versailles Tigers will look to remain undefeated on the
year as they will entertain Parkway in a crucial MAC contest.
In the Cross County Conference, National Trail will visit Ansonia and
Tri-County North will travel to New Madison for a date with the
Patriots.
The marquee game of the night will be a rematch between Arcanum and
Mississinawa Valley.
The Hawks dropped a 67-64 loss on the Trojans last Saturday in the
consolation game at the Jet Tournament for their second win of the
season.
In a non-conference game, Franklin Monroe will play at Lehman Catholic
in Sidney.
Saturday’s hoop action will find the boys and girls in action as the
Ansonia Lady Tigers till travel to Arcanum in a noon start while
Greenville will host Trotwood in a 1 p.m. tip.
The game for all the CCC marbles for the girls will see Tri-Village at
Miami East starting at noon with the junior varsity.
On the boy’s side of the ledger, Ansonia will travel to Russia,
Greenville will visit Arcanum, Bradford is at Franklin Monroe while
Versailles heads to Ft. Loramie and Mississinawa Valley heads to
Houston and a battle with the Wildcats.
Also Saturday, the Greenville and Arcanum wrestlers will compete in the
Troy Invitational, the Greenville swimmers will go to Sidney in a 5
p.m. start.
The Versailles swimmers are at New Bremen starting at 5 pm and the
Arcanum swim team to go against West Carrollton starting at 4 p.m.
