Fisherback ready for upcoming
season

GREENVILLE-
Greenville graduate
Jordyn Fisherback will start her junior season as the ace pitcher of
Middle
Tennessee Lady Blue Raiders softball team. As a sophomore, Fisherback
made only
12 appearances on the rubber for the team, suffering with some arm
issues.
Currently,
she is ready for the
2013 season and in the coming few days, will be talking with this
writer on her
upcoming season at MTSU.

2012
(SOPHOMORE)
Made
12 appearances including eight
starts in 2012 ... Notched her only win of the season in complete-game
2-1
victory against Drake on March 10 in which she allowed just one
unearned run
... Led Blue Raider pitchers with .271 opposing batting average ... Did
not
allow a hit in 1.1 innings of relief on March 25 against UL-Monroe ...
Hurled
2.2 innings of shutout ball out of the pen on March 4 against Murray
State ...
Surrendered no runs in 3.2 frames against Eastern Illinois on March 14
...
Allowed four earned runs on six hits in complete game against Charlotte
on Feb.
18 ... Placed third on the squad with 38.2 innings tossed.

(FRESHMAN)
Appeared
in 24 games including 16
starts from the circle ... Threw 107.1 innings of work for a 7-8
record,
amassing a 4.63 ERA and 74 strikeouts ... Made first career start on

13 against Murray State ... Threw 6.0 innings on Feb. 19 in a no
decision
versus Georgia Southern, allowing just one earned run off six hits ...
