The 8th annual Ms. Eldora Speedway pageant (July 11) will be the

for one year. The process to that selection will include
three stage appearances inside the historic Eldora Ballroom that
include different styles of dress and speaking opportunities.
For Zan Smith, Brittany Holland and Desiree Hixenbaugh, their reign
will end that night, while for three girls, their journey will begin
the following evening as they present the winning hardware to the
Knight Before the Kings Royal victor.
Monetary awards in the amount of $2,000 for first place, $1,000 for
second place and $250 for third place will join the other benefits
which include a tiara and wardrobe.
Applicants must be 18 years or older at the time of the pageant, which
begins at 5 p.m. inside the climate-controlled Eldora
Ballroom. The event is open to the public.
