Tri-Village, seeded first, is coming out of the Brookville sectional having scored huge wins over Jefferson, 101-22 and a 107-13 victory over Emmanuel Christian on a night that would see senior Teha Richards net 40 points and get her 1,000 career point.

In the sectional final, the Patriots rolled past Newton, 46-19 to advance to the district title game and the right to go to regional action.

Yellow Springs is the number two seed, coming out of the Monroe sectional beating James Gamble Mont., 53-23 and the squeaked by a weak Xenia Christian team, 37-34 in the second round.

In the sectional final, the Bulldogs topped Cincinnati Seven Hills, 44-24 to become sectional champions.

The Patriots and Bulldogs are scheduled to tip-off at 1 pm, following the opening contest between 22-3 Mechanicsburg and the 19-6 team from Cincinnati Country Day.

In the final district title game, the 12-12 Franklin Monroe Lady Jets will do battle against the 22-3 Ft. Loramie Redskins.

Franklin Monroe. Coming out of the Brookville sectional, has reached the district with wins over Southeastern, 43-40 in a squeaker and the posted the 43-25 blow-out of Covington in what most considered an upset.

Ft. Loramie, the top seed, won the Sidney sectional with 92-15 victory over Riverside, the popping Ansonia, 90-20 before eliminating Triad 66-46 to move on to district.

Franklin Monroe and Ft. Loramie is scheduled for a 3 pm. starting time.

The Patriots, undefeated at 24-0, has met the Jets twice during the season with the Patriots winning both games with very tight outcomes.

Tri-Village is coming off a 66-39 victory over Newton while the Jets won a defensive battle over Southeastern, 43-37.

That game is set to tip at 7 pm.
