DCCHA gearing up for annual event

Greenville - The Darke County Harness Horseman’s Association announced
Monday that tickets are now on sale for the 2014 Spring Matinee’s
chicken dinner.
With over 100 horses expected to be in attendance, the annual event is expected to be bigger than the 2013 event.
The day at the races will be held on Sunday, May 18, starting at 11:00 am for pick-up of the dinners, lasting through 12:30 pm.
Racing action will begin at 1:00 pm as the horses; drivers and trainers will showcase their individual and collective talents.
The annual Spring Matinee will be held at the Darke County Fairgrounds.
Tickets for the chicken dinners will be $7.50 per dinner and can be
purchased from any DCCHA member or by calling 937-459-0414 and will be
on sale through Saturday, May 10.
The annual event is free to the public.
