Nisonger stays
at the top in harness race wins

GREENVILLE- Jeff Nisonger stayed at the top of the leader board for the
Chip Noble Memorial blanket Thursday, tacking on four more wins. With
only one more session, Friday night, Nisonger will heads into that
session with 11 wins under his belt for the week.
The Pitsburg native got things rolling Thursday in the fourth driving
Sterling Chris to the line in 1:58.1 then in the sixth, Nisonger did it
again with Baker's Fantasy, running the mile pace in 1:59.4, beating
out Absolute Purity and Jack Dailey.
Win number 10 of the week would come just three races later as Nisonger
would take the mile Trot in 2:08.4 behind Swan on the Sea. Win 11 would
happen in the final race of the night (15) as Dazzling Diana would
finish the pace in 1:59.2 over JB 's Golden Boy and Tyler Rush.
Hollansburg native Ronnie Richards would get his first win of the week
in the fifth as he would drive Midge's Man to the win in a time of
2:05.2 in a slow pace.
Doug Rideout would take both ends of the Parshall Memorial Futurity
races.
In the first division, Rideout would take Roll It to the win in the
mile trot in a time of 2:03.2. In the second division, Rideout would do
it again in a time of 2:03.3 with McSorleys Mistake, outdueling Jeff
Nisoner at the line with She Drives Me Wild.
Friday, the annual Gene Riegle Memorial ($32,600 purse) was contested.
