Recognizes Cincinnati All-Star Game Organizing Committee
COLUMBUS - Ohio Senate President Keith Faber (R-Celina) today presented
a Senate resolution to leaders of the MLB All-Star Game Community
Organizing Committee in recognition of their work in coordinating local
activities and efforts surrounding the 2015 MLB Cincinnati All-Star
Game, which is scheduled to take place on July 14.
"The All-Star Game Community Organizing Committee has gone to great
lengths to ensure that this year's All-Star Game will be
unforgettable," said Faber. "I look forward to seeing the results of
their hard work and planning as baseball fans from around the all world
flock to Cincinnati."
Organizing committee co-chairs Melanie Chavez and Mike Sipple accepted
the resolution on behalf of the event's organizing committee. The
co-chairs brought a baseball that will be put on display at the
Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame to commemorate the 2015 All-Star Game.
The city of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Reds will host the 86th
Annual Major League Baseball All-Star game at the Great American
Ballpark. All-Star Week will feature various events at the ballpark and
throughout the region, including the Home Run Derby and the Budweiser
All-Star Concert.
