Kemenah Slips Past Blaney To Score All Star Circuit of Champions Win at
Eldora
Ruhl Wins NRA Sprint Invaders while Ballou Scores Victory in BOSS
Sprint Cars in Eldora Season Finale
ROSSBURG, Ohio (October 10, 2015) – Chad Kemenah moved back past Dale
Blaney on lap 21 to score a big victory in the All Star Circuit of
Champions season finale at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
Kemenah started on the pole and held the lead for the first 14 laps
before Blaney, who started third, went low in turn three and moved past
Kemenah to take the point.
Kemenah, from Alveda, Ohio, came back on lap 21 though, and took his
car high to repass Blaney and take the victory.
“I needed to get back on the fence and get after it,” Kemenah said.
“Either win it or wear it. It’s nice to win here and hopefully go win
some more as we have more racing we are going to do.”
Blaney, the All Star 2015 champion finished in the runner up spot,
while Steve Kinser was third. Tim Shaffer and Rico Abreu rounded out
the top five. Abreu worked his way up from 22nd.
There was one big accident on lap 18 when Sheldon Haudenschild caught
the outside wall and flipped in Turn 4. He was not injured.
In the winged NRA (National Racing Alliance) Sprint Invaders A-Feature,
Kyle Sauder took the lead on lap two and had a big lead, before he
attempted to pass a lapped car on the outside in turn one. His car made
hard contact with the wall and violently flipped before coming to rest
in between turns one and two. He was not injured.
That put Ryan Ruhl, from Coldwater, Michigan, in front and he led the
rest of the way winning by 1.5 seconds over Jared Hortsman. Devon Dobie
was third, while Randy Hannagan and Tanner Thorson rounded out the
top-five.
“I can’t believe it,” Ruhl said. “This is incredible. I can’t explain
it. I was impressed just to race here, let alone win a race here. This
is awesome.”
In the non-winged BOSS (Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series) Robert Ballou
from Rocklin, California mastered Eldora’s cushion. He built a 7.1
second lead when a caution came out due to debris.
When the race restarted, Bryan Clauson moved from third to second, but
couldn’t track down Ballou who won by 1.1 seconds.
“We came here a couple of weeks ago for the Four Crown with a new race
car and it wasn’t what it supposed to be,” Ballou said. “This thing is
about 10 years old and I’ve haven’t run it since 2011. We took all the
parts off the other car and this is one hell of a Maxim chassis. We
busted our butts to get this thing finished. We got done about 2 pm
today.”
Chad Boespflug, Hunter Schuerenberg and Scotty Weir finished third,
fourth and fifth.
This was the final race at Eldora in 2015 with the next event being the
Championship Awards Banquet in January 2016.

Chad Kemenah Earns UNOH All Star Finale Win During Eldora’s UNOH
Sprintacular
Dale Blaney Officially Crowned 2015 UNOH All Star Champion
By Tyler Altmeyer - UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions
Contact: altmeyer119@gmail.com / 724-954-4915
Rossburg, Ohio (October 10, 2015) - Despite losing the top spot to 2015
UNOH All Star champion Dale Blaney just before the halfway mark, Hunter
Racing’s Chad Kemenah persevered and charged back around the “Low
Rider” for his second UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions main event win
of the 2015 season. Kemenah, who swept the UNOH All Star portion of the
UNOH Sprintacular program on Saturday night, October 10, at Eldora
Speedway, now has 29 career UNOH All Star main event wins and will
officially end his 2015 UNOH All Star campaign third in the final
championship standings.
“I just need to thank my car owner and everyone who helps me” said Chad
Kemenah, “I’m really speechless right now. I’ve been so mentally beat
up this year. We tried to reinvent the tire for at least six months and
all we figured out is that it is still round. I can’t thank (Brian
Kemenah) enough. He works his butt off.”
Chad Kemenah and “The King” Steve Kinser brought the 24 starters to
“green” on Saturday night at Eldora Speedway. Kemenah took the early
advantage and maintained the top spot for the first 13 circuits,
reaching the back of the pack by lap five. Dale Blaney, who worked into
the runner-up position after the initial start, chased Kemenah through
traffic, eventually working under the Hunter Racing machine on lap 14.
The field was halted for the first time on lap 19 for Sheldon
Haudenschild who found himself upside-down in turn four.
Green flag conditions returned with Dale Blaney back on point. Kemenah
chased the six-time UNOH All Star champion and made a bid to retake the
top spot on lap 22 and succeeded. Despite one last caution and a late
race charge by Blaney, Kemenah held on and led the last eight circuits
to receive the final checkered flags of the 2015 UNOH All Star season.
“When I got passed, it made me mad” said Kemenah, “I’m tired of losing.
I just need to get back up on the wheel and get after it; win it or
wear it. Hopefully this means we are going to win some more because we
still have some racing to do.”
Dale Blaney held on to finish second during the 30-lap, UNOH
Sprintacular main event after starting on the inside of row two. The
pilot of the GoMuddy.com, Big Game Treestands, CH Motorsports, #1, was
officially awarded his sixth UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions title
following the UNOH Sprintacular program.
“I just want to thank my car owners and sponsors for what they do for
me” said Dale Blaney, “This was a great year, but really, really
disappointed how it ended tonight. Chad (Kemenah) has had a great car
the last few weeks. I probably made a few mistakes that cost us this
race, but overall, we are really, really happy.”
Steve Kinser, Tim Shaffer and a “hard charging” Rico Abreu completed
the UNOH Sprintacular top-five. Abreu started 22nd and rallied 17
positions to secure himself inside the top five.

About the All Star Circuit of Champions:
All Star Enterprises, LLC, wholly owned by Tony Stewart, d/b/a the All
Star Circuit of Champions, is a winged sprint car series. The All-Star
Circuit of Champions Sprint Car Series is one of the oldest traveling
410 sprint car organizations and is a staple of grassroots, open-wheel
racing. Formed in 1970 by Bud Miller, the series has largely been
considered the first 'outlaw' Sprint Car organization of the modern
era. After a 10 year stint as owner of the All Stars, Miller passed
control of the series to Bert Emick in 1980; a reign that would
continue through 2002. Guy Webb then purchased the series from Emick in
the summer of 2002 and served as the series President for the next 12
years. Motorsports entrepreneur Tony Stewart agreed to terms with
Guy Webb to become the sole owner of the original winged sprint car
tour in January of 2015. The 2015 schedule includes 54 events in
Ohio (29), Pennsylvania (14), Florida (5), Michigan (3), Indiana (1),
New York (1) and Wisconsin (1).
