hot and heavy at fair

GREENVILLE - With 19 races headlining the race card on Friday and a
loaded card on Saturday with two sessions, harness racing returned
Wednesday at the Darke County Fair.
Local drivers and owners found success and it started with the first
race of the evening.
E R Myron, trained by Steve Livingston and owned by Kelley Gower of
Union City, picked up a second place finish behind Cinderrlane Jade,
running the mile pace in a fast 1:57.4
Arcanum owner and trainer, Tim Reck, found success with his horse,
Coloneys Best in the third race with Doug Rideout doing the driving in
the trot with a time of 1:59.2
In that same race, Jeff Nisonger drove JD's Chancey Gal to a third
behind Mossee Terror.
Tranier Kent Wilcox (Hollansburg) watched his horse, Indian Creek
Layla, finish second behind Ohio Prince with the mile going in 1:56.3
as Nisonger finished third in the circuit.
Nisonger also picked up a second in the fifth with U B Crusin as the
pace finished in a slower 2:03.4
Nisonger picked up his first win of the night with In Trouble Again in
the seventh in 1:56.4. Nisonger also trained this pacer.
The Greenville driver also took top honors in the ninth with Ohio
Country in 2:02.
Seek The Dragon, driven by Nisonger, took third in the tenth as
Dolicity, driven by Alesha Binkly, came home in 1:57.3
Greenville’s Christopher Hope found the winners circle in the 11th
behind his horse, J P Silver in 2:00.3
In the final race of the night, Hope picked up a second with Wheatly
Wildcat while Nisonger rolled into the third place slot with Big See.
