An invitation to all peers
Teenage years are a time for self-expression--- learning how the world
works and then finding our place in it. It is important to build our
skills, learn our lessons, establish friendships, be allowed to make
mistakes and make amends. It is also important that our voices
are heard too!
This is where Teen Scribes comes in. It’s a forum where young people
can share their thoughts and feelings safely.
Do you have:
Questions that you want to know how other peers think about it?
Do you have something to share about feeling accepted, how to get good
grades or studying strategies, making friends, how to deal with
bullies, get out of a wrong crowd, or positive and negative feelings?
Do you like to do book and movie reviews, write poems, do cartoons or
comic strips or draw?
Do you know of a short dialogue that will make our readers laugh?
Any issues that a teenager goes through that you think may help someone
else?
Do you have kudos or want to shout out to somebody?
We want to hear from you. E-mail us at TeenScribes@yahoo.com
We live in one of the greatest countries in the world, but it’s not
perfect. It’s also ours to inherit, so a lot of the changes that will
be made in the future in our society are going to be made by us. Why
not start the path to progress now? Let us make a positive impact in
our community!
As the saying goes, “the pen is mightier than the sword” and you may
just be the sharpest tool of all, always churning out new and young
ideas. Write what you think and feel and let us read all about it!
