Thomas Scott Moore Sr., age 80 of Arcanum, Ohio passed away Friday, September 5, 2025, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. Thomas was born July 9, 1945, in Arcanum, Ohio and the son of the late George and Lillian Marie (Field) Moore.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brothers, George and Clayton.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Merry (Speelman) Moore, whom he married on August 11. 2000; his children, Lorey (Duane) Simons, Debora (Monte) Shuttleworth,Thomas S. Moore Jr. (Karen) Moore, Ronda (Aaron) Waxler, Teleascha (Steven Smith) Moore, Sally Mowery and Donald Moore; 21 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; his sister, Helen Ross and his sister-in-law, Vera Moore.
Tom was a 1963 graduate of Arcanum High School. He spent his working career at General Motors and Delco where he was a Journeys-man Tinsmith. Tom was a member of the Mason and loved to go fishing but will be remembered most for being a simple family man.
A private graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
